Missions Challenge

The problems we face within our society--symptomatic of moral and spiritual decay--are crying out for answers. All the combined efforts of the social sciences, politicians, and educators have failed in reestablishing the foundations for America's decaying society.

It's easy to point fingers at the secular world, but moral and spiritual decay is also prevalent in the Christian community. Instead of Christians setting the pace in society, too many are victims--casualties of an ever-changing society and its pursuit of pleasures and freedom from God.

Unfortunately, many Christians have forgotten their commitment to the basics of Christian faith and practice. The P-A-C-E Conference encourages the family of God to live according to the truth of God's Word, and thereby experience true freedom in Christ.

The conference targets Christians who:

have drifted--knowingly or unknowingly--in their walk with God, and need personal revival;

are uninvolved in the discipleship process, and need a fresh vision for evangelism;

are unmotivated spiritually, and need encouragement to move to a new level of intimacy with God;

are on the sidelines, and need a practical, powerful approach to servant-leadership.

This is not a program, but rather a spiritual and philosophical challenge to Christians to prepare their hearts and lives to be PaceSetters for Christ.

P-A-C-E is an acronym for Purity, Action, Challenge and Example. This series of four messages focuses on (1) purity in every area of life (mental, social, physical, and spiritual); (2) action based on beliefs; (3) the challenge to see and fulfill the purposes of God; and (4) living as an example by teaching, mentoring and serving--the heart of PaceSetter Ministries.

Every Christian is called to be a missionary. Having a world impact is not an option, but a responsibility and a delight. This Missions Challenge helps Christians understand and embrace their mission--whether at home or abroad. Every believer wants to believe that he or she has lived a life of great significance. This is possible by making the Great Commission our commission.

A unique feature of the Missions Challenge is encouraging Christians to discover and use their unique spiritual gifts in missions outreach.
